The company cements its progress, building on a track record of over 30 years, the integration of Woonivers and Sipos, and an annual transaction volume exceeding 15 billion euros.
The new space, which holds LEED Platinum and WELL Platinum certifications, reflects the company’s deliberate choice of an office model that integrates sustainability, technology, and human well-being.
Madrid, October 26, 2026 — Sipay, a Spanish group specializing in payment solutions and financial technology, is relocating its corporate headquarters to the ARQBÓREA building in Madrid. This decision reflects the company’s new phase of growth and its commitment to a work model that is more sustainable, efficient, and focused on the well-being of its team.
The relocation comes at a time of consolidation for Sipay, which boasts over three decades of experience in the payment services sector, more than 1,000 clients, and an annual processing volume exceeding 15 billion euros. In recent years, the company has also expanded its scope of operations beyond payment processing by incorporating solutions such as Woonivers—specializing in digital tax-free shopping—and Sipos—focused on management and payment software for the hospitality and food service (Horeca) sector—into the group.
The new headquarters also coincides with a phase focused on strengthening technology and compliance. Sipay has recently elevated its security and compliance standards by obtaining certifications such as PCI DSS—for which it was the first European payment service provider (PSP) to qualify—as well as ISO 27001 and the National Security Framework (ENS). These milestones solidify its position as a leading technology provider within the payments ecosystem.
“This relocation reflects the stage Sipay is currently at. We have grown in terms of capabilities, solutions, and team size, and we needed a space that could keep pace with that evolution. The new headquarters addresses more than just a need for space; it stems from a desire to create an environment that aligns with the company we aim to continue building—one that is technology-driven, sustainable, and, above all, people-centered,” says José Luis Nevado, CEO and founder of Sipay.

A conscious choice for sustainability
Located at 6 Quintanadueñas Street, ARQBÓREA is a building designed with a focus on efficiency, sustainability, technology, and well-being. It holds LEED Platinum and WELL Platinum certifications—the highest levels for both standards—as well as an ‘A’ energy rating. Furthermore, it has achieved WiredScore Platinum and SmartScore Platinum certifications, two international standards that assess digital connectivity and building intelligence based on objective, measurable criteria.
For Sipay, these features were among the criteria used to select its new headquarters. The company views sustainability as an additional dimension of corporate responsibility and as a key factor in building a business equipped for long-term growth.
The building incorporates, among other solutions, systems for harnessing natural light and a dynamic lighting system adapted to the human circadian cycle, as well as an architectural design that integrates vegetation and outdoor spaces.

A space designed for people
The move is also part of Sipay’s strategy to continue attracting, developing and retaining talent in an increasingly competitive and specialized sector.
The WELL Platinum certification at ARQBÓREA focuses specifically on the health and well-being of those who use the building. This is complemented by spaces and amenities—such as a gym, a rooftop area, and landscaped green spaces—designed to support various ways of working, collaborating, and taking a break throughout the day.
For Sipay, these elements are part of an approach to the workspace in which the environment contributes to the employee experience, collaboration between teams, and the development of a strong corporate culture.
With this relocation, Sipay begins a new corporate phase, aiming to further strengthen its position in the payments market—supported by its own technological infrastructure, an increasingly broad product offering, and a work environment designed to accommodate the company’s growth.
