The company specialized in the development of innovative and secure payment solutions entrusts its general management to Jaime Domingo.

With the aim of creating value for customers, employees, and shareholders, Sipay’s strategy is focused on the processing of the Electronic Money Institution (E.D.E) licence with the Bank of Spain (BdE). By obtaining the licence, Sipay will provide the payment gateway service, acquiring and value-added functionalities that will help commerces to sell more, covering the needs of the current market and new consumption models.

To meet this challenge, the company bets on the incorporation of Jaime Domingo as the new CEO, also being part of the Board of Directors. Until joining Sipay, he was CEO and adviser of UniversalPay, EVO Payments’ subsidiary for Iberia. In his 25 years in the payments industry, he has been member of companies such as First Data, Visa, Elavon and EVO for the Spanish, European and Mexican markets.

Jaime will strengthen the company’s growth in Spain and internationally thanks to a new global strategy that will allow Sipay to become the omnichannel payment partner for any type of merchant. Therefore, it will be a player that provides an acquiring 2.0 service and a wide range of alternative payment methods customizing the checkout process for each user according to their preferences.

Payment platform that helps merchants sell more

Sipay is the Spanish payment platform that helps merchants to sell more providing value to the user throughout the payment process. The alternative payment methods increase end-consumer confidence during the purchase.
